What is Found 101?
Found 101 was originally called Foundations 101 ~ but here’s the Truth. If you are in Christ, you have been FOUND! You might be seeking clarity, or a closer walk, in Him, but you are not lost. Jesus is the best Rescuer ever. He has not lost one. John 10:28.
What on earth does this mean? Or, what does this mean, on earth? Horses are my secret love language with God, meaning, I am more aware of Him, His perfect prescence, provision and peace as a result of my horses. They are like my sheep. I am able to trust the heart of my Good Shepherd as a result of my heart for my horses.
Found 101 is a 6 week introduction to the theology and horsemanship combination I call Equine Assisted Discipleship. How can horses help people experience God’s presence?
Horses need a source of safety in every moment ~ or they become anxious and reactive.
We are no different.
We were created to live from the Source of Life ~ Jesus. In each moment. In each heartbeat.
When we lose awareness of that Source, we can feel anxious and disconnected.
Horses become a living picture of this truth ~ not as a concept, but relationship with someone you can see and feel.
