What is Equine Assisted Discipleship?
Equine Assisted Discipleship (EAD) is an experiential form of Equine Assisted Learning that incorporates an equine (horse, pony, mule or donkey) in a Bible based, relational, healing program to assist people in experiencing God's Abundant Life. Our beloved rescued horses provide a powerful picture that allows participants to become deeply aware of God's perfect presence, provision and protection.
Our definition of discipleship is: A moment by moment process where a human grows more and more aware of God's perfect presence, provision and protection. This process can be hastened through experiential programs designed to teach foundational biblical truth in an encouraging and practical way. Humans, like horses, must feel safe before they can learn. Beautiful Brokenness Ministries is a safe place for humans and horses alike.
