Katy's Bio

Katy Pistole is an award-winning, best-selling author and speaker who is passionate about sharing the Abundant Life and Shepherd heart of Jesus. Horses are Katy's second passion, and the way she most loves to communicate truth about the Good Shepherd.

Today Katy is the founder and Executive Director of Beautiful Brokenness, a unique Equine Assisted Discipleship ministry that incorporates rescued horses as a living metaphor for the rescue, redemption and reconciliation that Jesus desires for His flock. 

Beautiful Brokenness has earned a top rating with GreatNonProfits for the past six years, and is thrilled to announce the launch of New Life Horsemanship and The Brokenness Project, two innovative online courses that will allow participation from students all around the world. 

Beautiful Brokenness has been featured in The Washington Post, US News and World Report, The Washington Times and New Jersey Herald. 

Katy's second Sonrise Farm book, Stolen Gold, spent several days in the Amazon New Release bestseller list last year.
