We believe the Holy Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, to be verbally inspired of God in the original manuscripts; infallible, inerrant and God-breathed, a perfect rule of faith and practice.
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. (1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 5:7).
We believe that God, the Son, who has always existed, became a man (without diminishing His deity) by virgin birth through Mary. He lived a sinless life and as the infinite God-Man took upon Himself the sins of all men, died in their place and satisfied God concerning their sins.
We further believe in the literal, physical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. He was then ascended and exalted to the right hand of God as the Great High Priest of all believers.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, who convicts the world of sin; believers of righteousness; and of judgment. He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. His present ministry to believers also includes empowering, teaching, and leading into all truth.
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin, the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and, that man is totally depraved and, of himself, is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. Apart from faith in Jesus Christ each person remains in Adam, lost and devoid of Life. (Genesis 2, 3 and 5)
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace (apart from any works) and received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of sins. Upon receiving salvation, the person receives Jesus, who is eternal life, and becomes a partaker of Christ's life. At the moment of faith Christ indwells that person and that person is in Christ. He (or she) becomes a new creation and obtains a new identity as a child of God.
We believe that all who have been truly born again can never become unborn again. Jesus Himself said that no one can snatch His own from His hand.
