What happens after the rescue?
Come and meet our herd. All of the horses have been rescued from one thing or another.
What is the practical process of rescue, redemption and reconciliation?
Seasoned equine rehabilitation specialist, Katy Pistole, will walk you through the day to day intake, acute management and aftercare for a recent rescue.
Katy will cover equine nutrition needs, choosing hay, farrier needs and basic veterinarian care, as well as a comprehensive look at what a horse needs socially, psychologically, and physically.
All proceeds from the workshop benefit the horses at The Center for Equine Assisted Discipleship.
This is a 12 week course designed to introduce young students to the horse/human relationship and acquaint them with the numerous analogies and metaphors of The Good Shepherd.
This is a 20 to 60 minute (your choice) presentation where Katy explains the analogy of the round pen and the importance of establishing rapport, respect and communication with the horse. Jesus came to identify with us, so we could identify with Him.
These are one day events at The Center for EAD. Participants will come away with a deeper understanding of His Story and the way Jesus invites us to dance with Him.
Coming in 2020, this will be an intensive program designed to equip others to share the message of The Good Shepherd incorporating horses.
Jubilee, The Love Story is a modern day Job story and certainly gets the conversation flowing. Join Katy for a deep dive into the heart of God in the midst of pain and suffering.
This is a video course being created at The Center for EAD. If you would like to participate in The Brokenness Project, please contact Katy!
